Every growing season brings new decisions and new opportunities to change how we manage our farms. AGrow Expo brings local producers together to explore the agronomic, market, technology, and stewardship topics that can help inform those decisions.
This year’s event hosted 227 total attendees and featured a diverse range of topics designed to provide both practical information and a look at what’s ahead for agriculture.
Cattle Highlight
We added a Thursday evening cattle-focused meeting to this year’s agenda, bringing together more than 91 producers for a discussion of practical topics that can directly impact cattle operations. The evening topics included a market outlook, an overview of feed additives that can support cattle performance and efficiency, and a carcass education session focused on how management decisions on the farm can influence outcomes and value at harvest.
Looking at the Markets
Friday’s event was primarily agronomy-focused with sessions focused on understanding the markets is an important part of farm management. In our breakout sessions, producers heard updates on both the fertilizer and grain markets, along with a discussion of how biofuels could influence grain marketing opportunities.
Putting Technology to Work
Technology continues to create new opportunities for farmers to improve efficiency and make more informed decisions. Attendees explored ways to utilize farm data through the Mercer Landmark Connect app and saw John Deere’s See & Spray technology in action, demonstrating how targeted spraying can support more precise applications and optimize in-season inputs.
Learning from the Field
Some of the most valuable agronomic lessons come directly from the field. Our field plot agronomic review gave producers an opportunity to review soybean management trial results and connect observations from the plot to decisions they may make on their own farms.
The event also addressed important operational topics, including grain safety, animal show feeds, and on-farm stewardship.
Connecting Information to Action
AGrow Expo is about more than covering a long list of agricultural topics. It’s about giving producers access to timely and relevant information, expertise, and technology they can use to evaluate their own operations.
Our goal is to help producers ask the right questions, understand their options, and make decisions that support the productivity and profitability of their operations.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s AGrow Expo, as well as our speakers, partners, and team members who helped make the event possible.
Save the date! Next year’s event will be Friday, September 10th, 2027.
We look forward to continuing the conversation and helping our producers turn information into action.
